One of the most noticeable mechanics in Age of Empires IV is the lists of pseudo-achievements called masteries. The Mongol Mastery list encourages players to explore all the mechanics of the Mongol civilization, with a special focus on mobility and aggressive, battlefield disrupting strategies.
Upon completing each task in the Mongol Mastery list, you are rewarded with 1000 experience points. You unlock information about the history of people, places, and things that influenced the course of history for the civilization.
