A unique Buddy is given to each hero in Hearthstone Battlegrounds as part of the Buddy System. Buddy characters cannot be bought from the item shop, but instead are summoned by the hero themselves. The newer heroes coming soon and all of the other heroes are below.

Every Hero will now have a buddy meter over their portrait as shown above. The meter fills up when the Hero enters combat, deal damage, pop Divine Shields, or win or tie a combat phase. When the meter fills up, players will be given a buddy in their hand.
