To quickly make an English longbowman,you must advance to the feudal age by building the Council Hall Landmark.

Training English Longbowman
After advancing to the Feudal Age, Train English Longbowman from the Council Hall landmark for50 wood and 40 food.
After training2-3 Longbowman, take them to the outskirts of your enemy’s village and try to take down any buildings, villagers, or other units. Use the range of your bowmen to your advantage and try to play thebait and retreat game.
Remember, The main focus of the longbowman build order is to sabotage your opponent’s initial economy. So, try to turn his attention towards your longbowmen while you concentrate on building up your economy for late-game.
